The "Coronavirus Impact on Food and Health" study is being conducted in the Chicago region at DePaul University by principal investigator John Mazzeo, PhD, and collaborator Victoria Rivkina MPH, CHES. DePaul’s mission is grounded in Vincentian values and serves its students through the framework of community engagement and social justice. The Master of Public Health program in the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences offers students the opportunity to study Community Health Practice or Social Epidemiology as they prepare to work as public health professionals. John Mazzeo, the MPH program director and an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology, has conducted extensive research on food security and its impact on health.
